Anyone else out there like Almond Joy’s? Oh yeah! I know I did, but I didn’t like the processed ingredients. These seriously taste just like them, only better, in my opinion.
Lil Diva and I love these and they are the perfect treat to have your kids help you make.
One bowl is all you need.
- 2 Cups Almond Flour
- 4 Tbsp Coconut Oil or Coconut Butter
- 2 Tbsp Honey
- 1/2 Cup Carob Powder or 1/4 Cocoa Powder
- 1/2 Cup Chocolate Chips
- 3 Tbsp Water
Mix everything with your hands, or better yet have your kids do it.
Take about a walnut sized scoop, using your hands roll into balls.
That’s it, you are done.
To make them even prettier, you can also roll them in more carob or cocoa powder, shredded coconut or crushed nuts.
You can make your own almond flour by grinding up toasted almonds in a food processor as well.
I store mine in the refrigerator so they stay fresher.
