Maple Bacon Walnut Bark

Ohhhh yaaa baby!

Yes, it is as good as it sounds.
Totally delicious.
Sweet and salty all in one.

What else can I say!? Besides, why aren’t you making it yet?

  • 16-18 oz Dark Chocolate (More than 60% Cocoa if you can), melted
  • 6 Slices of Bacon, cooked crispy
  • 1/2 Cup Chopped Walnuts, toasted
  • 3 Tbsp Real Maple Syrup

Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper. Prepare your bacon and walnuts. Cook your bacon until nice and crispy. I did mine in the oven. I also toasted the walnuts in the oven for 6 minutes at 350 degrees. Break the bacon up into pieces once cooled enough to handle.
Spread the walnuts and bacon pieces all over parchment paper. Drizzle the maple syrup all over the walnuts and bacon.
Chop the dark chocolate into small pieces then melt it in a double broiler. Pour the chocolate all over the walnuts, bacon and maple syrup. Use an offset spatula to spread the chocolate evenly until everything is coated and smooth.
Place in the cookie sheet in the refrigerator so chocolate can harden.

Break into pieces or cut into squares. However you wan to eat yours…..go crazy!
Store in the refrigerator.

This will become a very addicting snack.
